Are You on a busy schedule and can't come to Nara? Don't miss out! With our night tour at the deer park and its surroundings you can still enjoy the ancient capital of Japan in its most quiet hours!
When the sun goes down and the hordes of tourists leave, Nara shows its most intimate side and whispers its stories in our ears. Are you ready to listen?
We are going to enjoy spots designated as World Heritage and historical buildings beautifully illuminated around the Nara Park area.
This Nara Night Tour is ideal for those seeking a more intimate, poetic and profound experience.
- 6 PM We will meet in front of the Souvenir Shop called "Goto-chi" at the East ticket gate, in the B2 level of the Kintetsu Namba Station in Osaka.
There are east and west ticket gates at Kintetsu Namba Station. Please be sure to be on the east side.
- 7 PM If you are already in Nara you can meet us in front of the Monk Gyoki Statue near Exit 2 or East Exit of Kintetsu Nara Station
The first stop of our Nara Night Tour. We are going to stroll through 1,630 acres of Nara Park, the home to over 1,000 wild deers. Some of them may be sleeping or wandering between the lanterns but -if we are lucky- some may come to say hi to us.

A national treasure, is the largest gate in Japan with 25 meters tall. It houses the statues of the guardian kings, sculpted by famous master sculptors, which have been designated as national treasures.

Let this 1,200-year-old National Treasure echo through the stillness of the night.
The view from this observation deck will take your breath away! Without a doubt a great photo opportunity as well.

A real hidden gem inside the Nara deer park that not many people know about. This construction seems to float above the waters of Sagi Pond.

This temple near the deer park surprises us with an elegant eight-sided structure originally built in 813. It houses important Buddhist statues and serves as a stop on the Kansai Kannon Pilgrimage.

A famous pond at the Deer Park with a curious legend (that includes juicy gossip) you can not miss!
