Unknown to many, Mount Yoshino is the place where more than 30,000 cherry trees of different species are concentrated. This sacred mountain has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the beauty of its scenery has been acclaimed since ancient times.

We will ride a lux train to Mt Yoshino (*Subject to ticket availability)
Its main pavilion is the second largest wooden structure in Japan and has been designated as a “National Treasure of Japan”.
*Please note we won't be entering the temples or shrines during the tour.
From this shrine you can enjoy one of the best views of the cherry trees called “Hitome senbon” (1,000 cherry blossoms at a glance). Not to be missed!
Founded in the 10th century, this temple was the place of worship of Emperor Godaigo after he moved his capital to Yoshino during the time when Japan had two rival imperial courts.
